Preparations Underway: Tug of war for inter-ministry competition

Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development on Friday afternoon held a tug of war competition. This men/women competition is preparations to compete in the inter-ministry competition to commemorate the 76th Independence Day.

Union Minister U Hla Moe and officials enjoyed the competition which was followed by awarding ceremony. Consolation prizes, third prizes, second prizes and 1st prizes were presented to winning teams.

Also, awards were presented to winning teams in football, volleyball and futsal, Sepak Takraw competitions. It’s learnt that Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development started holding sports competitions in October to select athletes to compete in the inter-ministry competition.
