Efforts for Agricultural Development: MoALI DM inspected cold storage factory in Yangon

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi inspected the packaging of fish and prawn, freezing and preparing for export to the oversea market at the fish cold storage factory of ShweMyin Company limited in Shwe Lin Ban Industrial Zone of Hlaingthaya Township on 27th January.

Next, the deputy minister inspected the staff housing of the Department of Agriculture in DaNyinGone, gave necessary instruction for the environmental cleaning and greening, living in neat and tidy, keeping maintenance and fire safety.

Then, the Deputy Minister met with the region/district/Township level agricultural officials at the meeting hall of Yangon Region head officer’s office the department of agriculture and gave necessary instructions.

Afterward, the deputy minister inspected the work process of freezing agricultural and livestock breeding products with the cold storages of Fresh & Green Int’l Manufacturing Co., Ltd operating on the land plot leased from the department of agriculture in west Gyogone in Insein Township and gave necessary instructions.

In the afternoon, the deputy minister inspected pesticide registration, controlling the spread of crop pests, Laboratory testing of agricultural products, Issuing endorsements for foreign exports, Inspection of plant diseases and fertilizers imported from abroad, inspection of pesticides carrying out at the Plant Protection Division (Yangon) Office and gave guidelines for the work process.
