Students from the University of Forestry and Environmental Science are currently on a field trip at No.5 Forest Research Camp in Moe Swe, Ottarathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw.

On Sunday, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi visited the site to encourage the students. He emphasized the crucial role of skilled forest experts in ensuring the long-term conservation of forests and the improvement of the natural environment.

During the field trip, 124 students from the third and fourth year, under the supervision of university faculty members, participated in various activities aimed at enhancing their understanding of forestry and environmental conservation. These activities included collecting forest resources, inspecting the boundaries of forest reserves, and engaging in the process of marking teak and hard woods, along with learning about timber extraction techniques.
